The controller of your personal data is Studziński i Partnerzy Adwokacka Spółka Partnerska, a partnership of Polish attorneys-at-law (adwokaci), with its registered office at ul. Stefana Okrzei 21/1, 57-300 Kłodzko, Poland; entered in the National Court Register (KRS) under no. 0000574996 (District Court for Wrocław-Fabryczna), tax ID (NIP) 883-185-86-17, REGON 362483268 (the „Firm").

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to. Please use the contact details above for all data-related matters.

This policy covers the data of people who contact the Firm through the website, by e-mail or by telephone and — to the extent set out in point 04 — data processed in connection with providing legal assistance.

When you contact us we usually collect: your name, e-mail address, telephone number (if you provide it), the content of your message and any other information you choose to share.

Some data may reach us not from you but from our client — for example, the data of persons involved in a matter. Such data is covered by attorney confidentiality; see point 04.

We process your data for the following purposes:

• Responding to your enquiry and an initial assessment of your matter, including steps taken at your request before entering into a contract — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and our legitimate interest in handling correspondence — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• Providing legal assistance once instructed — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract). As regards data of persons other than the client — the legitimate interests of the client and the Firm in conducting the matter and in establishing, exercising or defending legal claims (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); and as regards special categories of data — Art. 9(2)(f) GDPR.
• Compliance with the Firm's legal obligations (including accounting) — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Everything we learn in connection with providing legal assistance is covered by attorney confidentiality — from first contact, whether or not an engagement follows.

• Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement (form, e-mail, telephone) — kept until the correspondence is closed and, where necessary, until the limitation period for any related claims expires (determined under Art. 118 of the Polish Civil Code), after which they are deleted.
• Data processed in connection with legal assistance (case files) — for the statutory period: 10 years from the end of the year in which the proceedings in which the data were gathered concluded (Art. 16c(1)(2)(c) of the Polish Bar Act). After that period the data are deleted (Art. 16c(2)).
• Data processed to meet legal obligations (e.g. accounting) — for the period required by those provisions.

Only authorised members of the Firm's team, bound by confidentiality, have access to the data. We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements:

• OVHcloud — website hosting. Form data passes through the server only in transit; the site does not store it.
• Microsoft (Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online) — the Firm's e-mail, to which enquiries are delivered.

We do not sell data and do not share it for marketing purposes. We may disclose data to bodies entitled to it under the law — subject to attorney confidentiality (point 04).

Under the Microsoft services, data may also be processed outside the European Economic Area; this takes place on the basis of GDPR-compliant mechanisms (including standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions).

You have the right to: access your data and obtain a copy, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest — to the extent provided by law. The exercise of these rights is limited by attorney confidentiality as described in point 04.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland), the supervisory authority for the Firm, if you consider that we process your data unlawfully.

To exercise your rights, write to wroclaw@studzinski.com.pl. We respond without undue delay and no later than one month of receiving a request.

Providing data is voluntary but necessary to handle your contact — without it we cannot respond to your enquiry. We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing and we do not carry out profiling.

The website is static. We use no cookies, no analytics and no tracking codes (including Google Analytics or advertising pixels) — which is why we display no cookie-consent banner. Fonts are served locally from our own server; we embed no external font or CDN services.

The location map is a static image. Selecting „open in Google Maps" takes you to Google's service in a new tab — a third-party service governed by Google's own privacy policy, over which the Firm has no control.

Our hosting provider may keep standard access logs (including IP address, the date and time of the request, and browser type) to ensure the security and correct operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are retained in accordance with the provider's configuration.

We present team members' data on the site (name, professional title, biography, photograph) in order to introduce the Firm. The basis is the Firm's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, as regards images, the consent of those persons.

We may update this policy, for example when the scope of the website changes. The current version is always available at this address.
